Does the General_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.6.R.221115 firmware work on the NVR5224-24P-4KS2 purchased in 2018 or is it only work on a specific hardware revision ?

Thanks for the response, however I consider that a software factory reset. I'm looking for a way to do a hardware reset to factory to resolve some issues.

Is there a way to perform a hardware factory reset ? To reset to just the default OS and no previous system info.

Hi Andy, Is there an updated firmware version for the IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M that no longer require a web plug in ? I tried the version posted here and it still asks for a web plug in.
