    BlueIris: Record to NAS issues

Just adding on to this thread, I had to edit the windows registry to get the mapped network drive to show up in the "browse" to store clips over SMB. I'm using a synology NAS but I don't think it matters. From here: https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=517...

Blue Iris iOS client Camera Speaker Problems (iphone microphone not working)

That's weird, perhaps the settings in your iOS app are not correct ?? Like many, even when I got the sound to pipe in eventually from the app but it was so garbled even on local wifi that I gave up. Over 4G it made almost no noise at all and certainly not discernible. However, that "hail" sound...

2 way talk through PC Audio?

That gave me a clue, but I found my answer in the manual (wonders never cease). I had to turn off my camera's audio so that it would pipe in and out of the PC speaker. Also, though I wanted the PC's default audio output to be different, apparently Blue iris uses Win10's default "speakers" to...

2 way talk through PC Audio?

I decided to buy a cheapo USB audio adapter and use it for 2-way audio on my front door. The Microphone works great with the attached settings however the speaker sadly is not working. The speaker works great with windows, blasting SNL youtube clips out into the neighborhood, however blueiris...

Blue Iris compatible doorbell/intercom/2 way audio

Turning the res of my 1440p cam down to 1080p helped a ton with the audio. It's still a little distorted though, higher pitched as well. cam is a Dahua IPC-HDBW4431R-AS.

SOLUTION: select the Dahua model Fenderman recommended (thanks!) and then make sure your logged in user on the mobile app has "PTZ/Control" enabled.

    Dahua 4431R-AS - BlueIris Doesn't use cam speaker :(

We're getting there! The Mobile app is definitely doing something, it'll play the "hail" sound in the audio settings but the microphone in the mobile app isn't working. I wonder if it's a bug in the BlueIris app

SUCCESS! Converted ADC VC825 back to Local Cam (hikvision) for BlueIris

So I bought an alarm.com camera (VC825) a few months ago and changed my mind on it, deciding to use the BlueIris with a low power home computer instead. Everyone knows Alarm.com does not use their own cameras, and when they got up to VC825 apparently they started using Hikvision (my netgear...
