    Blue Iris not recognizing Amcrest ProHd

    I am testing out an Amcrest ProHD bullet cam, and using the drop down for Amcrest and Pro HD, does not show the signal. If I go to generic, I can see the signal, but can not adjust the size of the camera output..... any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

    Never heard back from support, so I found a different product to display the video feeds. Even with the up and down feed my delay is only 3 seconds, and I am fine with that.

    I have a mixture of both, both worked fine until the power recycle..... will check the rtmps URL again to make sure they have not changed..... which it appears they have not.....

    Thanks, since I am using the direct url now that we can do that, should this make a difference? I now use the same URL you use to view the direct feed from Nest.....

    Ok, well I see the update will let you roll it back over a newer version. Bad news is I went back two versions, but still same issue. It almost immediately says no signal, like it is not even searching for a feed.

    I am here now, and downloaded a previous update. Uninstalled BI, ,ran the older version, but says path not found for application. Do I need an older version of the program itself? Or will this let me roll it back from my current version? Thanks

    I will do a rollback in a few hours, as I use the 32-bit version, and see a new update went out Friday, so possible it auto updated when this happened. How do I turn off auto update? Thanks again.....

    I dont have much of a choice on the Nest at the moment, already dropped several grand on them, as this is a large system. Maybe an auto update hit while I was gone.... not sure how to check that though. What do you suggest for future cameras"

    Does Blue Iris do auto updates? I have not updated anything myself, although the install is only 4 weeks old. I used to have to do the work around with copying the direct video path from the source, but after a recent update several months ago I noticed you could use the direct nest URL...

    I arrived home to BI showing no signal for all my cameras. They are all Nest, and the Nest app shows them all up and well. I checked a few direct links as well, no issue. Rebooted PC, can ping everything fine, and speed is great. My PC with BI is hard wired into a Linksys Velop mesh node...

    It is only showing jpeg as options, so I guess that is the issue. It is the newer Samsungs... is there a TV that decodes H264? Still have to see why opening a single cam drops the frame rate from 15 down to 2 or 3 frames, that does not make sense to me, but must be another setting I need...

    Should I expect the frame rate from a Samsung TV browser connected to UI3 to be much lower than a PC or laptop viewing the same group? That is what I am not experiencing.... I get around 12 to 15 fps with my laptop, and 2 to 3 with any of the Samsung TV's I connect with........ I did...

    Thanks for the reply.... turned out the computer I was setting BI on had two firewalls, one was still blocking the port.... Now I have to see how to adjust the UI so the remote does not time out..... BI shows a message to adjust in the UI3 settings, but have yet to find that...… thanks...
