Get the camera with has MicroSD slot. That's what I am doing right now, recording to SD and NVR incase NVR was stolen.

Del Boy, the web site said HFW2320R-ZS is a replacement of HFW2300R-Z. Don't they both has the same sony sensor? if HFW2300R-Z is better then I would save me $40 since it is cheaper than HFW2320R-ZS. is there any draw back?

I need to install under eaves and shooting to my front door. It is pretty close from where I will have it install to the door so I prefer 2.8mm and under for this place. I prefer bullet since I have a smaller mounting base and easy to adjust.

I want to get those bullet camera but they don't make any 2.8mm (4MP) version anymore.

I just got my Dome PTZ. it is much bigger than I expected. Anyone using this camera with Synology Surveillance? I cannot get motion to notify surveillance center and the drawn motion area doesn't show either. Does anyone have this problem?

Remember! you will not get any warranty from Hikvision USA if you buy from Amazon. I bought 2 from Netview (Amazon), claimed come with 2 years warranty but Hikvision wont honor it event both camera are US retail version. You might want to get it from B&H photo since they are Hikvision authorized...

Still failed. I will return it back to Amazon.
