The box i have is a HP ML350p Gen8. Hyper v server 2016 with 18vm's. 256gigs ram soon to be 6 10tb drives. Currently running 6 x 3tb drives. I love that BI can be virtualized. Just installed their app on my phone DAMN this app is wicked !

Over kill yes but it's a VM on hyper-v. and the server i have is way to powerful but hey can't pass-up a good deal :)

I just read on this wiki, that a dedicated video card will not improve anything with a NVR. Currently i'm running 4.0 and find that my camera is laggy when watching the playback OR it misses motion all together. Are there anytips and tricks out there to remove the missing frames and laggyness...

Actually, Direct to Disk :) i just enabled it and now i'm sitting at 5% cpu & was at 60.. Screen shot :)

I think you mentioned some of those features can only be changed with the Paid version correct ?

Both set to 20fps. Camit, i'm not buying another computer. I can live with the cpu of this vm being high.

Blueiris was recommended to me, so far i like it and i'm about to pull the trigger on a license for my home setup. I have it in a virtual machine with 4gigs ram and 4 cores.. it sits around the 65%. Is this normal ? I have 2 cameras hikvision PTZ & a tendnet 311pi..

Are you saying i could use a Lorex one too then ? Or should i just use Hikvision adjust the settings & use it with the Lorex NVR.. Attached is screen shot google earth and the projected issue.

Yeah, don't "read-into" the words.. I'm a Hikvision fan, Installed many LPR's from that brand but hard to gain access to them here in Canada..
