Unable to add cameras from Laview LV-N9508Q8E NVR

Yeah it's likely the PC then. I'm using a Dell OptiPlex 9020 which is running Win 10 Pro on a i7-4770 and 8gigs of RAM. It's only being used for BI so it has no issues with running all my cameras with no hiccups.

Unable to add cameras from Laview LV-N9508Q8E NVR

Lol so looking at my own screenshot I'm realizing that my BI FPS does not match LaView. Changing BI to 15 fps as well.

Unable to add cameras from Laview LV-N9508Q8E NVR

I had something similar happen when I first set them up and this is how I optimized the cameras in the NVR and BI to get it smooth (See pics)

Unable to add cameras from Laview LV-N9508Q8E NVR

Awesome man that you got it going!!! Happy to help. I agree about the NVR sensitivity, it's just plain garbage compared to Blue Iris.

I have cross zones setup but still getting lots of false alerts

I've read a lot about Sentry over the past weeks and am interested but I want the dog/cats to keep alerting me. Also I don't believe they can detect vehicles yet which is also why I'm still sticking with the BI for motion alerts for now.

I have cross zones setup but still getting lots of false alerts

Just wind, when the suns brightness changes, and car lights

Wondering how I can maximize my configuration to improve it. Attached are all the screenshots of my setup. Any input on improvements would be much appreciated.

    Blue Iris UI3

That definitely makes sense. I've made adjustments and the stream is smoother now and not as janky as it was before. I also disabled H.264+ on my cameras which got rid of the ghosting too. I'm a happy camper! Thanks for all your work on UI3, I'll be sending you a donation when I get my income...

    Blue Iris UI3

Hey everyone. Wondering how I can increase the quality of UI3 when I'm viewing 5 cameras at once. I have the quality to 100 on web server, I have streaming quality in UI3 at 2160p and bitrate at 4096. Looking at the 5 cameras at once it looks kind of like 720p (Google Chrome). When I put one of...

    Ebay PC tower i5-6500

Hardware acceleration with h264 works more than good enough. And with the i7 having twice the amount of threads, it'll be able to handle more cameras either way.

    Ebay PC tower i5-6500

Not that good of a deal considering it only has 4gb of ram. I got a Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF Intel Core i7 3.40GHz 8GB RAM 500GB HDD Windows 10 Pro for the same price not too long ago.

I added the folder to my exclusion path in my AV. I've been launching it with the admin exe and had the require run-as admin already enabled. WIll keep an eye on things, thanks!

Streaming from Virtual Host vs Direct IP performance difference?

I lowered all the cameras down to 2304*1296 at 15fps and CPU usage went way way down. It hovers between 20 - 30% now. One thing I forgot to note was that I'm not using Blue Iris to record, only for encoding the video to Actiontiles and for motion alerts. I'll keep monitoring but this seems much...

Streaming from Virtual Host vs Direct IP performance difference?

With one camera I'm at around 20% BI CPU usage but when I enable two it stays at 90-100%. I have direct to disk and hardware accleration but since my CPU is nearly 8 years old (Intel® Core™ i5-2500K Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.70 GHz) Product Specifications) it doesn't have all the fancy newer...

Streaming from Virtual Host vs Direct IP performance difference?

Hello everyone. I have a Laview NVR which has POE for my cameras. The only way I've managed to get the cameras to stream to Blue Iris is by enabling virtual host (See image) in the NVR which assigns a port to each of my cameras to the NVR IP address. Example my NVR IP is 192.168.86.23 and I can...
