Yeah it's likely the PC then. I'm using a Dell OptiPlex 9020 which is running Win 10 Pro on a i7-4770 and 8gigs of RAM. It's only being used for BI so it has no issues with running all my cameras with no hiccups.

Lol so looking at my own screenshot I'm realizing that my BI FPS does not match LaView. Changing BI to 15 fps as well.

I had something similar happen when I first set them up and this is how I optimized the cameras in the NVR and BI to get it smooth (See pics)

I'd say do a factory reset of the camera and try again

According to this the default is username admin password 12345 LaView IP Camera

In the Laview NVR admin page go to Network > Advanced Settings> Other > Enable Virtual Host (Picture attached too)

I've read a lot about Sentry over the past weeks and am interested but I want the dog/cats to keep alerting me. Also I don't believe they can detect vehicles yet which is also why I'm still sticking with the BI for motion alerts for now.

Hardware acceleration with h264 works more than good enough. And with the i7 having twice the amount of threads, it'll be able to handle more cameras either way.

Setup motion detecting today and for some reason the locations I want monitored in zone a keep defaulting to the entire camera screen. I have to keep going back in and setting up what I want monitored.What exactly am I doing wrong or is there a work-around?

I have a similar Laview system (LV-KNTX968PW4-84) and I think it's very similar to Hikvision because I was able to view my cameras with Hikvision software CLIENT SOFTWARE
