What is the model number of these "4K/X" cameras? I want to take a look. I might just try a 6mm further up on the driveway, worst case one of the cams goes in my growing pile of not used ones under my desk ha.

Are those the cams with LED lights instead of IR? How do you think they would work here with the LED off, better than the 5442?

He was in a blind spot between my neighbors house and the car, in a shadow. The IR light reflecting off the first car in the driveway makes everything else behind it darker. He was at the 2nd car for this, so no good footage there unfortunately.

The noise is a result of the min shutter to avoid blur and very limited DNR also to avoid bluring of details. These are 5442 3.6mm, not the varifocals. I have a 6mm in the driveway, but there is very little light there, but okay with IR since it's narrow

Is the IMX485 what is in the new hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-LU this 2x2 binned version of it would probably be the best color night sensor (albeit 2mp).

So what is a good baseline setting for a dark area using the IR lights? I'm still getting close up faces completely washed out. Actually looks pretty good at like 10feet away. I have BLC on and IR set to auto.

My 0.02 ... not working great for me. Not sure if this is something SmartIR could even resolve for me, but I have a 5442 cam on a dark driveway with a car typically parked in it. The front LP reflects the IR a lot and causes the rest of the scene to be affected negatively. No IR is too dark...

When i click an alert in BI UI3 it plays the alert, but the location on the clip bar is zero, if i click anywhere it resets to the beginning of the clip. its like it knows where to find the alert, but the location bar on the bottom never updates. the function works fine in the Blue Iris PC...

Whenever i click an alert in the mobile app or web UI3, it plays the alert but the timeline clears out and it goes to zero (not the correct location on the recording). it works fine when using the actual blue iris app logged in on the computer. i tried repairing the DB and no change. any ideas?

I had the same issue on the latest 5231 firmware. Sometimes the focus and zoom display never loads

Are the 2mp versions (DS-2CD2327G1) of the ColorVu better in low light? Looks like they still have a 1/1.8" sensor. I'm really trying to find the best low light color under $500. I have a few 5442's and they are good in the front yard with street lights but not my darker side yard.

How does this compare to the 5442? I see they have a 2mp version, I wonder if that is superior at night to the 5442

I have the same problem The only way I was able to resolve it was the sunrise sunset utility. Search for it on the site.

Just flashed it, noticed the camera feed on the "Zoom and Focus" tab takes a long time to show up, and when it finally does there is a black box around it. This is using Chrome.
