My VTO is connected to NVR via network and my camera directly is connected via NVR Poe port
recording on my VTO vto2111d works on the general mode.
But does not record anything when general us unchecked and motion is checked. My camera recording works on motion detection
Can someone please...
I had connected VTO2111D-P-S2 directly to the router using a POE power supply and everything was working well. When doorbell is pressed it rings on the phone on gDMSS Plus app.
Now I have connected the VTO to NVR and added it sucessfully. I am able to see and record VTO video on the NVR and also...
I am looking to use DHI-VTO2111D-P-S2 to open my swing gates when card is detected.
The swing gate controller switch is 24v DC. Can I use terminals NO and COM as a dry switch to achieve this?
I can get continutiy on my multimeter between these terminals when rfid card is detected
Yes, was using the mouse. I think the problem here is hikvision moving from numeric password to alpahnumeric. The numeric password would have worked fine with the mouse. For entering alphanumeric you have to click on the on-screen keyboard which does not send the correct characters
 Yaaay!!! Sorted with the NVR. The problem was something to do with the NVR on-screen keyboard. The password does not seem to enter correctly. Believe me I tried entering the same password at least 50 times. The NVR GUI is not great, it does not give a password error but shows as if no...
I had to change password on first connection to the camera so its no longer 12345. The camera would not accept 12345 (alphanumeric was required)
Both camera and NVR are set to English language. Do the firmware numbers have to match up?
I got both from aliexpress
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this but still the NVR does not see the camera. I have uploaded a few pics of my settings.
When I connect the same camera to my router, I am able to access it (the camera is working fine)
I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this
I have the cameras connected directly to the NVR PoE ports. Currently I would like to use NVR and Cameras without connection to any network. Would this setup work?
Hi,
I have a noob question. I am trying to configure Configure Hikvision NVR 7104 with Hikvision DS-2CD2032. I have installed hdd and initialised it. However my NVR is not able to find any cameras. The NVR LAN ports lights blinks indicating there is some communication happening. The cameras are...
Thanks for the very useful information on PoE. I will be definitely using PoE since its less cabling too. The camera I am buying seems to have both PoE and 12 V DC

Do I need POS-1002 for this to work? This sets the voltage in the instructions
The poe device itself does not specify output voltage.
The camera input voltage is 12 v DC max.

I plan to connect one camera. Will something like this do the job?

will it not send power to the router gigabit port?
Hi, Sorry, I am a noob at this. I am planning to use a POE injector for my hikvision IP camera. However my router is a Gigabit router. Would this pose a problem as Gigabit uses all four pairs for data. If yes, any solutions?
