Hi guys - I'm looking for a Dahua NVR w/ the ability to handle 2 LPR cameras. (1 enter, 1 exit) - the problem is I'm reading through all the product manuals and they dont mention anything about the LPR camera compatibility. Does anyone know what 8CH model I need?

OK - So I think I found it... Under the NVR -> Alarm-> Video detection -> Motion Detection -> Tour. I've turned it off - now all I can do is sit back and see if it fixes what I need it to.

Can't find that particular setting --- Can you give me a step by step? For ex: Log into camera, setting, event, etc...

Alright, guys - I'm really struggling... Years ago I set up my Dahua NVR to "call attention" to a camera that has motion. What I mean by this is - if I have all 12 cameras on my house up on the screen, if someone comes to my front door, the front door will take over the whole monitor and show...

and as soon as I typed this - I realized what the problem was on the Preset 2.. if anyone was wondering - I had to go under "smart plan" and click "add plan" then select preset #2 to set up the IVS for the intrusion box. This is now set up. My only lingering problem is #2. Anybody have any ideas?

Might be because I'm close to a corner - so at night the lights project pretty far up my driveway/front yard.

trying to avoid that - I find if I get that close to the street, the PTZ will chase cars headlights all night.

OK @Wildcat_1 - I got the Time task to work - but I still cannot figure out how to set the rule's for preset 2 on the PTZ... when I click that drop down that I've highlighted below - There is no option for preset 2 (I DO have a pre-set 2 for the PTZ) Additionally - I just cant get this...

I am using profile management to set the day/night settings. That should not effect this?

So this PTZ I have on a schedule for day/night because my landscape lighting won’t allow the cam to kick over to night vision automatically. Could that be the hang up? Otherwise I don’t know of any other time tasks.

Hi all - I installed this PTZ on my house about a month ago and haven't been able to configure it correctly - it was doing AI tracking and then it just stopped. Camera is no longer moving.. Can anyone help me? I've been reaching out to @Wildcat_1 but I don't think hes around currently..

Thank you @Wildcat_1 - I just want to know what the best direction is moving forward... If I'm going to go through the trouble of taking down a camera that is 2 stories up, and replacing with another very expensive PTZ - I want to make sure it is going to work how I want it to.

Can I see an example of what distance you are tracking at? I almost think this is part of my problem... the 59225 is on the second story of my home, pointing down to the front yard and side walk - So, it has a limited amount of space and time to track.. I'm thinking maybe this is part of my...
