Run database maintenance less frequently or only during certain hours

The default. "New" folder for new recordings, with a 30gb size and max 1 day old, and that is moved to "Stored" in the NAS

Run database maintenance less frequently or only during certain hours

Well, I'm not expecting to set this to full days... but even a 1 or 2-hour interval would leave enough time to no fill up all my hard drive, and allow enough time to hibernate my NAS HDDs. This is not just to save power usage (which is a good thing), but also wear and tear of the HDDs so they...

What is your experience with Sentry?

Is the API between Blue Iris and Sentry documented? Can we replace Sentry with our own software as long as it integrates in a similar way or is the integration too custom for Sentry? I currently have something set up locally to do the AI and works pretty accurately, but the integration is a...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

What's the question here? I can definitely help you set it up, as this would be an awesome OSS project that we can all contribute to (but yo can still be the gatekeeper, it's not like anyone can just push code to your repo). What source control do you currently use? GitHub is super easy to use...
