I had the exact same thing happen to my SD49225T-HN about 4 weeks ago. I tried various POE injectors and splitters and nothing worked, It would start its boot-up sequence and would be pingable briefly at it's default IP address, then go offline. I ended up replacing it with a SD49225XA-HNR. :(

While I don't have it true home programmed as a preset in the camera, milestone will call 0.0 when I hit the home button on their PTZ controller so i should be good. Thanks for the help.

I read through the thread and I'm not clear on how using the true home as preset 1 helps.

A word of caution... I tried applying this firmware to my camera after a factory reset and just setting the IP and it bricked my camera. It's now stuck in a reboot loop. I've posted in the Dahua IPC EASY unbricking / recovery over TFTP thread. Hopefully someone there can help me recover the camera.

You don't need the password. You just upload the zip file to the camera using the firmware update utility built into the camera.

Thanks for confirming... I figured that was the case, but I didn't want to risk bricking my new camera with the wrong firmware.

Can you confirm the new firmware works on both Imporx and Huisun V2 versions?

I just got done installing a V2 from Imporx and it works with Milestone, but I had to enable Anonymous access to get it connected. I'm not sure what changed in their authentication protocols from V1 to V2.

Does this firmware work on the Imporx V2 version?

As others have reported with the 1st gen camera, the corners of the picture are a bit blurry during the day. It will be interesting to see if this new version has the same problem.

I had a similar dropped signal problem connecting my 1st gen mini PTZ to Milestone XProtect. The problem seems to be related to the FPS setting. Once I lowered it from 30 FPS to 15 FPS the problem went away. I'm going to try bumping it back up slowly to see where the problem comes back.

Has anyone tried the PTZ cameras in xProtect? I'm pretty sure the video will work since these are based on Hikvision firmware, but I want to know if the PTZ functionality will work.
