Andy, I have another question about your upgrade firmware and Dahua's International firmware. Why is there a difference in where we get them if the NVR's are the same or are they? Are the one's we get from aliexpress/Amazon any different because they are English version of Chinese models...

OK, Thanks for your input. I have done the pre setup of the new NVR and made all updates, PW etc only thing left to do is to change IP to static address.

I did all IVS rules, image, etc settings via the NVR, but when I go to the cameras via the webui the IVS rules and other stuff are there too so Am I good to go with my swap?

Hello, I am replacing my 16 channel NVR with 32 Channel and want to transfer all settings for NVR and Cameras including IVS profiles so that everything will be as before the swap out. BTW both are operating with NVR 4 software.

Andy, If the camera model is a series 5000 but the update is 4xxx is that correct, I tried upgrading the IPC-B5442T-ASE with this firmware and camera would not accept, response was "Failed".

I understand from what I have read the other three pairs are not used . In a PoE setup, power is transmitted over the same twisted pair with the video.

Andy answered it , both audio and alarm wires are independent of the ethernet connection. Would be nice if they would use other 3 pairs.

Hello Andy, I bought a Dahua IP PTZ camera SD59430-HNI from your KS2018 Amazon store and have a question about the alarm, audio wires. I am using PoE+ Ethernet connection , will that cover the alarm and audio too or must the alarm and audio be wired separately? Thanks
