Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

I ask because some of their "Smarthome" branded items originally didn't include RTSP. It was like they wanted to focus on their apps for those. It appears that has been remedied for everything but their wirefree camera.

Good find. Do you know if they've confirmed that it will work via RTSP?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

This model works fine for monitoring and recording the doorbell camera with BI and I get ring events on the doorbell app. That's generally all I need. But I don't find the app useful or reliable for two way chat to answer the doorbell or recording events in the app itself. The app is just a...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Fortunately my doorbell is wired to a breaker that doesn't power anything else important. So if I don't want it to ring in the middle of the night I can turn that breaker off and just leave it until the morning. This works out anyway because in my experience if the doorbell comes up immediate...

Not worth the time or trouble.

Can't say for sure because I've never used it. But it does everything I need it to do and it doesn't require me to run Windows. So from my perspective it's vastly superior.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I had the LaView version working great on my desk for almost a month powered with a RING transformer. Notifications and PIR worked perfectly. Recording from Zoneminder worked perfectly. But then I deleted it from my App because I didn't want to keep getting alerts every time I sat down at my...

Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

I started looking at doorbells a month ago and was happy to see that Amcrest had come out with one since I've had good experience with their cameras. Unfortunately reading their answers on the Amazon page they said that it didn't work with ONVIF or RTSP, only their own Smart Home app. So I...

Not worth the time or trouble.

Tap tap tap. Time to wake this thread up with another forum newcomer. I use Zoneminder mainly because I don't use Windows if I can possibly avoid it, but secondly because I can hack it to do whatever I want. I don't recommend it to anyone who isn't reasonably fluent in Linux. Even though...

Dec 2020 - Comparison of RTSP Doorbells

Thanks, looking back at the summary I see that it says that about the faceplates right in there. I just hadn't seen it illustrated anywhere but on the Nelly's listing. I'm wary of the wifi issues with the first gen but I have a strong signal at my front door. My other concern about the DB1 is...

Dec 2020 - Comparison of RTSP Doorbells

Thanks for this summary. I've been lurking around here for a while watching the state of doorbells that have RTSP capability. I'm running Zoneminder so I want to capture the video there. I also want mechanical chime compatibility and a dark color with minimal branding. Also cheap is good...
