Dahua 4k Starlight with 1/2 sensor (CVI only for now)

First of all 1.8" 2.0mpx from Hikvision is Sony sensor, so it's completely different. Bigger pixel, better low light. Second, I see that Dahua messed something up. First version of HFW1831 and HFW2831 was 1/2" Omnivision sensor with enhanced low light "my previous videos). New version is...

    Dahua HFW4239T-ASE review

I think both of us can be right, just talked with R&D of our Machine Vision solution provider, and he said not all cameras work like I said. To be precise, only some specified sensor can do it. So, when we discuss standard cameras, I'm wrong and you are right, ;) Thanks for correction.I edited...

    Dahua HFW4239T-ASE review

EDIT: I WAS WRONG. The thing I wrote below are corrected by @wopi82 later :) You would see difference in b/w mode with movement on scene. This is how sensor works. On sensor you have 3 color sensors RGB. Each one is collecting photons of only one color, ignoring others, to simplify let's say...

PTZ19240V is the same optical and zoom module as SD6AE240V. I have to say that with new PFA (fast focus) firmware it is one o my favorites cameras. Here is range test of this zoom: I had to enable "defog" - that's why the colors are little bit "off" ;)

IPC-HFW4239T-ASE TrueColor - new bullet camera.

Guys, please. I made test in extreme low light to show difference between old sensors and new one. This is the best way to show sensitivity. Of course manufacturers are using marketing key words and bait names to get attention. But professional installers know that every camera, even ultra...

    HDW5831 vs HDW5231 (aka 8MP vs 2MP)

Eyeball negate reflection from the dome. This reflection that you see is from the car. IR is bouncing of the car/window and hits the glass of the camera.

I have some videos made from HAC-HFW3802 - this is the same sensor. I'm planning to make some tests with IP version of this camera. I have fixed lens HFW1831 and varifocal HFW2831

But you can see blob of pixelation, comparing to other camera, it's enough for video analytic to trigger alarm or turn on flood light. Also, it cannot see in TOTAL darkness, no camera can. You need some kind of light source (moon, distant homes etc.) Here is Standard STARVIS camera (HFW4231)...

Dahua is introducing new bullet cameras with new Sony Starvis Sensor (IMX327) that is 2.2x more sensitive than previous one (like in HFW5231). Link to datasheet I've made some tests of this new fixed bullet camera. Here is comparison vs AXIS M2025-LE minibullet Soon I will upload vs standard...

You can't use LR1002 with other brands. This works only with ePoE cameras. BUT There is something like this: http://www.dahuasecurity.com/Products/ProductDetail/16521 And this can be used with standard camera.

Dahua Starlight STARVIS with more MP?

There is 6Mpx for example HDW5631, on Sony sensor. Low light similar to 4.0 mpx, a little bit better. But still not even close to 2Mpx. Or try ultra series HDBW8630 or HDBW8331. Great cameras Wysłane z mojego SM-G935F przy użyciu Tapatalka

    SD6AL245U-HNI vs SD6AL830V-HNI DORI Distance

DORI is for image during full light and good conditions. It's like "in best possible scenario" using: Detect - 25pix/m Observe: 63pix/m Recognize: 125pix/m Identify: 250pix/m according to EN 62676-4 Because of 4x more pixels, and much bigger lens in 6AL830 the distance is bigger. Remember that...

    Dahua Starlight PTZ

You know why SD6AE240V-HNI is so good? Because of lens :) Aperture is F1.2, comparing to standard F1.6 used usually in PTZ cameras, this lens give 178% more light. That is why there is so huge difference.
