Blank live preview when running as a service

So the problem was that I've made special windows account for the service, because it required a password and I didn't want to have one. Now I've set a password on the main account (+autologin via Netplwiz) and it works fine. :banghead:

Blank live preview when running as a service

Hello, I upgraded to BI5 and moved it to another PC, but there is one problem: running as a service causes the live view in BI to not show any cameras, right-clicking on their position works, so they are there, just not rendered. Playback works as expected, web UI too. It seems to be...

Dahua IMOU camera owners, please share your information here! Thank you.

It seems to be some problem with the PC (i5-3570k) - there is also a problem with running as a service, the live view is all black (not rendered). It all works fine on a newer PC.

    Blue Iris support response times

For me a horrendous support is like the Microsoft one, where you have to spend weeks going through 5 levels of Indians that hardly speak English, have badly configured microphones, and do not know what they are talking about and are unable to comprehend the issue. Then if you win "the game" you...

Dahua IMOU camera owners, please share your information here! Thank you.

I used Dahua ConfigTool for activation and configuration, without enabling Cloud connection. It all worked like any other Dahua, only without the web interface. My cheap Tp-Link router prohibits all internet access from cameras to the internet. It was super easy, I do not see a problem.

I found a big review here 39.2US $ 39% OFF|Dahua Imou F22A 1080P HD IP67 Weatherproof Camera Onvif and Diversified Storage Camera Outdoor PoE Camera Human Detection|Surveillance Cameras| - AliExpress suggesting to use 48V passive poe, can confirm it works.

Dahua IMOU camera owners, please share your information here! Thank you.

I just successfully configured Imou IPC-F22A on Blue Iris 4, powered by passive 48V POE It took me some time to figure out the url, so here it is: rtsp:/192.168.2.54/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif (it is quite a mess, every model is different Connect to Imou cameras )

    Imou Bullet IPC-F22A

If you could measure the voltage your poe switch provides, surely it would work with a passive poe injector as well.

    Imou Bullet IPC-F22A

Can it be powered by 48V passive poe, just like other Dahua cameras?

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

Would it be possible to add a memory watchdog that would restart BI (service) if the allocated memory exceeds a limit? It happened to me several times that BI service leaked and it killed other applications on the server.

    UI3 slow to load, lagging

I updated yesterday to 4.8.6.3 (after 4.7.6.8 leaked about 40GB of memory and killed everything :), I think not restarting for half a year had something to do with it). Since then I noticed that UI3 takes ~15s to start playing an alert (some faster, some slower, both GIF and H264 on Chrome)...

    Mounts or no mounts

I will be installing IPC-HDW2231R-ZS, on a wall (pointing ~45 degrees down, in a very narrow angle from the wall, maybe the wall will even be on the edge of the view). I am thinking about wall mounts and brackets. Should I be using one, just to hide the wires? PFB203W, PFA137 or PFA130-E? Does...

    AMD Versus Intel

Lag during playback - exported clips are fine

Not that it should matter in your case, but there is no reason to not have the DB on the SSD. You could try to move one clip to the SSD (as AUX folder) and then play it back, then you would see if it is because of your HDD.
