As someone who has run the 2mp 237 model of this camera for a couple years without problems, is there a reason to upgrade? I'm not aware that it was ever advertised and there isn't such a setting (at least natively) on the 237. I would assume such a feature would require additional hardware in the camera.

I've been running the 237 for a year and a half and the vehicle ID is pretty worthless--lots of Tatamotors and Daihatsu for American made cars. If the 437 works even a little bit that'd be an improvement.
