Yeah I added them while researching my initial troubleshooting with push. There is another thread where someone indicated that tags helped solve their problem. Good to know they aren’t required at this point

Have you tried using tags? put a tag called 'phone' in the tag field for your mobile devices. Then under the "On Alert" button for your push notification actions under each camera, add 'phone' to the required mobile device tags field and see if that solves your issue.

Yes...when i installed V5 and set up push notifications they did not work. When I upgraded V5 to the latest build push is working fine. (5.3.1.2)

I use 3 in just this same config. However i have 2 APC 1500s for the POE and BI server, and then 1 APC SMT-1500C with the smart connect (you get email notifications etc) for the main modem, router, house switch, etc.

I have favored hikvision cameras for about 3 years and as of June 2017 I can't stream to any browser in Mac or Windows. Webcomponents and the special fixes to Firefox don't work anymore etc. Is it just me, is it a problem for other manufacturers or is it time to find a Hikvision alternative...

Hey I have Blue Iris and just received a Hik 4MP cam that has the option to use H.265 codec. Does not appear to work when H.265 is selected but H.264 works fine. The marketing talk says 265 is more efficient but I don't know much more about it. Any thoughts? Does anyone know if H.265 is...
