Hello Everyone,

Today I randomly have 2 POE cameras offline out of the 5 total.
I remoted into the PC that is on the same network and could not view these cameras via web browser using their IP addresses.
When I ping them I see 100% loss rate.

These cameras are across the country so I cannot do anything physically to the cameras.
I rebooted the NVR remotely and still no luck.

Any other suggestions to try remotely before calling someone to visit?
Thank you!

The only other thing I can think of would be to scan the network, using an IP scanner tool, and look in the IP range that the cameras default to, or arrive from the factory with. They may have rebooted to factory default.

Is there someone to look at the POE ports of the NVR or POE switch to see if both LED's are lit on each port? They should be able to compare them to the 3 that are working and tell you what they see...a photo would be best if they are not tech-challenged.

If 2 are different from the working 3, let's hope for a bad cable or corroded connection....since you are in a VERY lightning prone area (FL), that would be better than a port loss because of ESD from a nearby strike.
