We have a bunch of the older 2mp starlight cams. We have a new vacation house that we would like to have two way audio. Does blueiris support this? Also what is the new camera that replaces the older 2 mp starlight. We have a very dark place so we need a great camera for darkness. Pluss the 2 way audio.

Yes BI supports it IF you use the paid BI app for your phone (UI3 doesn't work for two-way) or use the BI console on the computer.

You can go with any TIOC camera as they support two-way audio. Stay away from the 8MP versions though. But they are not great low light cameras unless you are willing to run the white LED.

You could also go with the 4K/X but need some light or be willing to use the built in white LED. Same with the T180

Keep in mind two-way talk is gimmicky also and is more like walkie-talkie and a several second lag. Real hard to have a conversation with them, but good for yelling "get the f off my lawn" LOL.

Is something like a ring or wyze better for 2way?

I hate to say it, but yes those will be not as walkie-talkie.

They still suffer from a bit of lag based on your internet speed and those need internet access and the concerns associated with that, but if two-way is your primary need, then a doorbell cam or Ring will be the better choice, but they will be poor in low light conditions.

So maybe you do a complement of say the go to camera for good low light and some Ring for two-way?
