I've had four Hikvision 2CD2142FWD-I since Nov 2015 purchased from Nelly's.
I've been running them on BI 4x since then.
Last few weeks I upgraded BI to 5.x. Updated firmware on the cameras to V5.5.53. Enabled ONVIF.
What a huge mistake. BI became crippled. I could not interact with BI without its windows blinking on and off, disappearing, then reappearing. Taking minutes between clicks to react.
Finally I managed to delete the cameras from BI. Disabled ONVIF on the cameras and start over.
Added the cameras back as Generic RTSP cameras with substream /Streaming/Channels/102. BI is acting normally again.
Is there something I missed or is this just how it is for these old cameras?
