Based on a sampling of a few models, and looking strictly on spec sheets, it looks like the Color and B/W sensitivity are all in line with each other (exception 4/3" B/W is superior). For some reason the Hikvision models use a lot more power. Perhaps they are using older sensors and using more power to boost sensitivity? If so, then maybe they'll release newer models.
But as of right now, the SD8C440FD-HNF looks pretty good. It is unclear what the future SD8C845QA-HNF will look like as it's not dual sensor and different model pattern. Does that mean it won't be under the Polar Light family? Who knows.
