2022 Latest New SD8C440FD-HNF 4MP 40X Startlight Polarlight PTZ

Another reason I would hold of buying the ds-2sf8c442mxs-dlw is power consumption and the price for electric here in the UK at the moment is taking the piss

To run just that 1 camera for a month would cost me around £15 according to an online Energy Calc. Cheaper to get burgled ever so often and replace the missing items :)2022-06-17 00_42_30-Window.jpg

I thought my price for electricity was really high at 17 cents per kWh which is 5 cents higher than what I paid in Arizona.

Considering currency conversion, I'm paying about a third of what you are and our local rates are relatively high. Gasoline used to be about 25% of what it costs in the EU but, Biden fixed that for us by shutting down American drillers and the pipelines to transport crude and refined fuels.

180£/yr seems high until you get broken into. Not only do you have to replace what was stolen, but you also have to clean up the mess and repair everything that is broken.

Yeah just a bit of banter mate I wasn't being serious that is not my nature :) I wish I lived here Venezuela, at $0.02 per litre.

Based on a sampling of a few models, and looking strictly on spec sheets, it looks like the Color and B/W sensitivity are all in line with each other (exception 4/3" B/W is superior). For some reason the Hikvision models use a lot more power. Perhaps they are using older sensors and using more power to boost sensitivity? If so, then maybe they'll release newer models.

But as of right now, the SD8C440FD-HNF looks pretty good. It is unclear what the future SD8C845QA-HNF will look like as it's not dual sensor and different model pattern. Does that mean it won't be under the Polar Light family? Who knows.

Another 64% increase in October will see the minimum payment of £3100 PA for Gas/Electric. I say minimum as this is a fixed price set by Ofgem.
Average UK household £8,800 a year worse off than those in France or Germany

This country will become Sri Lanker and the people needs to start to take the power not the filthy rich oil/gas companies,.

Apparently the following Hikvision PTZs I’ve posted above are dual sensors as well.

DS-2DF8C425MHS-DEL
DS-2DF8C835MHS-DEL

Any further updates on this one as far as availability and pricing???

If you budget for around $2000-$2500 you won't be disappointed.
Kinda' thought somewhere around that pricepoint, anyway you look at it Pounds or Dollars....Dahua will still extract their "Pound of Flesh" for the privilege :-).

I think the seller will have the largest profit margin as the warranty will be with them so will be taking the largest slice of the cake for sure.

You are across the pond so could be different to here in UK>

Since this one isn't even available yet, at least not in the U.S., don't even know what the actual street price would have been; let alone when they are actually available.
