23AWG Cat 6 RJ45 passthrough connector recommendation

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a reliable source to buy rj45 cat 6 23awg connector please?

I bought one from Newegg and either I'm doing it wrong or the connectors are cheap. I tried 2x and both times it did not work.

I used cable tester and it shows it's good. When I plug into PC to test connection, got no Internet connection.

I tried both A and B wire types. Same issue lol

I don't want to "try" my luck and buy one from Amazon and keep wasting money.

I use the Klein pass through connectors along with their crimping tool. The part number for the RJ-45 connector is VDV826-729. I find them to be of high quality.

I like the Klein as recommended. The Klein did not work well with one specific cable I bought, there was a fraction of a difference and I used True Cable brand pass through to solve the problem. I started a thread and you can find it if you search.

I wonder if the latest batch of Klein connectors have had the hole opened up to 1.02MM? It seems to me that it is now even easier to slide the wires through the connector than say a couple of boxes ago.

I just saw the latest specifications of the Klien RJ-45 cat6 connectors. The pass through hole is now 1.05MM.

What I do to help matters is straighten the wires as much as possible. They come in twisted pairs and are kind of kinky. I also leave the wires around 1.75" to maybe 2" long. IMHO this also helps things. I also cut the spine as far back as I can.
