2CD2042WD-I line crossing detection is not working

Hello,
i set up line crossing and intruder detection, but the cam is not detecting anything and will not detect motion. I only have activated smart events and disabled motion detection on event. firmware is 5.4.0 it seems to be the newest. I hope somebody can help me or is using the function.

How many lines are you trying to use?

only one. I now realised that using the Synology SS could be the problem because it doesn't support smart events...
