Today get this new camera, maybe can be good for indoor using. I am not very good at testing, but can upload some normal pics.

Looks like and interesting mount form factor to the IPC-HDBW4231F-AS mini wedge, but for drop ceilings.

Actually, i have been wanting to ask if there is a mounting ring that i can buy for the IPC-HDBW4231F-AS (or any other) that lines up with the mounting holes with machine screws for a drop ceiling mount? Right now i use a piece of 1/2" plywood and drywall screws, which is not ideal, but solid.

@EMPIRETECANDY , please link the model umber to the Dahua web page for specifications. Does it drop into a 5" recessed light hole? Does it only come in 2.4mm and 3.6mm (not 6mm)?

@bug99 do you have some pics that can send me for a looking? I am not sure what you need, right now no special one, how about the IPC-HDB4231C-AS? This one also very small, but no IR light.

Attached is a pdf that reflects a universal hole pattern for a thin steel plate with threaded inserts (optional) for all of the dome like cameras that are of interest to me (HDBW4231F-AS, HDBW5231E-Z5, HDW5231R-Z, HDBW5830R-ZHDW4231EM-AS). Something like that will allow easy rugged installs up to a drop ceiling tile with normal 4mm machine screws and a 7/8" center hole for the RJ45 etc. Let me know if you find something like that. If you cant, but have a contact that can manufacture them, i can give you the CAD files.

Sure can be OK, you can use NVR4108-P-4KS2 with the 4 cams.
