2x10TB hard drives DS-7616NI-I2/16P

So I'm about to buy a new nvr but the hard for wd 10Tb are pretty good price. So I'm thinking of buying them

But the hard drive max is 6TB each bay.

Would the nvr support them or not?

As i really want massive space.

Has anyone tried?

This has been posted a few times - I don't believe anyone has personally tried yet. You may just want to fire off a quick email to HIK tech support. Don't give them to much info, sometimes they get stuck in the weeds. I'd simply ask "I have a DS-7616NI-I2 and with the release of new 10TB HD's from both WD and Seagate I'm curious of the NVR's will support them) Or something of that nature.

I see what i can do.
I know an email of an employee his really high up as there was a Massive problem with my nvr what i bought from China English version he was keen to see the problem i was having so he cam see what was happening he didn't want to send me to australian team as there VERY hard to get support. He was on HQ somewhere

I see what i can get out of him since he fixed my problem and he said my nvr is very clean no hacks or modifications to any files it was the real deal of the nvr made by them
