5.3.1.6 Restarts

Been on 5.3.1.6 for several weeks now and has been rock solid.

The last two days, it is restarting fairly frequently.

I am currently at 16 restarts today. Most of them are in pairs - 2 within a minute of each other and then may go a couple hours.

Nothing has changed on my system and all Windows and updates are off and set to manual.

Anyone on 5.3.1.6 seeing an issue recently?

Just to clarify, it is BI not the PC that is restarting.
Is BI running as a service ?
Is there any information in the BI logfile or in the windows event viewer.

Oh yeah, I should have clarified:

It is BI restarting and not the PC. PC runtime is far beyond the BI restarts.

BI is running as a service so it doesn't appear to miss much as it restarts quickly.

BI Says Restarted after unexpected shutdown (1500/240)

Welcome to the BI service restart club, quite a few members and like you I have Windows updates disabled and I’ve had this problem appear way back in January with a much earlier release of BI. Contacted support who put in some code to report that code at the end but beyond that no idea as to what might be the cause.

report the problem in detail to the developer. Use the button in the about tab to collect the basic system info. Also proved the trace back dump.

I have a clean windows install, and have not had a crash in a long time. I am running version 5.3.2.6 x64 (9/3/2020) currently.
