5442/54IR original vs S2 or S3

Hi. I am looking to buy a few cameras. I found someone selling the original 5442 from Empiretech.
Does the original support AI in same way as the S2 or S3? Is it still worth getting the original version?

As I recall, they were a bit more basic and AI (Tripwire/Intrusion) wasn't quite as sensitive as current stuff, but still worked ok and a great image. Ask what FW version and if it has Human/Vehicle filters

IR LEDs have a hotspot but you can work with it using gain, exposure, and the clear tape mod.
