I thought I would advance into the world of 5G so have a new edition above my CCTV PTZ. Currently paying Virgin Media £35 Per month for broadband 200Mbps and now have a three ( 3 Network ) unlimited data Sim for £3 per month where I now get 400Mbps.
The ONLY problem I have is I think I have made a mistake on the antenna choice buying a 5G only one where now my upload speeds are pretty poor around 5Mbps with a 60 ping time on average. I did not know 4g was needed for upload.
The 5g antenna I have now is rated up to 18 dbi gain where the new antenna I am thinking of buying is only 5-8 dbi gain so would this effect the download speed I already get.
Both antenna's are Bluespot make which seam to have excellent reviews. My mobile router in house would only receive 4g at 10 Mbps inside my house prior to mounting an outside antenna.
At least it matches the colour of my PTZ
