Any ETA on when this camera will be back in stock on Amazon? I had one in my cart, but someone bought it as I was selecting a mount.

I already purchased the 4MP turret, but would like the 8MP for a different location.

Yup, I actually just sent one to Amazon so it should be soon. I may also have one coming my way from Hik in which case I can sell to you directly (or the AZ, whatever you want). I will reach out to you within the next few days. Short version: I will have 2 shortly.

I know they are vastly different form factors, but I would love to see a mini shootout between this camera and the 2 MP Starlight IR Fixed Turret. I assume the 2MP would have better low light and night performance but I wonder by how much. In daytime the 8mp should outperform it all the way around I would think. It is great to have options!

Of course the bullet would win in a shootout, what was I thinking?!?!..... (sorry I felt compelled to be do it before someone else said it....)

Any chance we'll see a turret and varifocal version of this sort of camera? It may be that you will never have a varifocal lens at f/1.2, but we can wish, right?

This looks like an excellent camera. I just hate wiping the spider webs off several times per day. We get a LOT of the little critters here for some reason.

Also, I'd probably buy one of the ipcamtalk dad hats if they were available in red.

You know, I've seen a funny red ball cap with the words "Made You Look" on it. That phrase seems somewhat apt on an IPCamTalk cap as well! Might be a copyright issue, but then again, maybe not!

But sure, now that I've said it, I'll shoot you a PM and take a regular ipcamtalk hat in red! The folks where I work will love it! I'll be carrying when I wear it, though, so be forewarned, ANTIFA!


I'd also take an ipcamtalk beanie if you can make a version with eye holes (you know, an ipcamtalk ski mask), and a black ipcamtalk hoodie, too!

I need the ipcamtalk hoodie, dad hat, and ski mask to wear when I'm out checking car doors in the wee hours!

I think ALL of these items would sell very well here, actually!
