When it comes to variable focus, the info you got from steve1225 was good.
Cams with huge lenses and F1.0 are very tricky to make into variable focus. Be definition F1.0 means a crisp focus on the subject with blur in the foregrund and background,
Hard to get F1.0 and good DOF (Depth of Field) in the same, relatively tiny enclosure
The 7 series is probably as close as we can get in our price range right now
There's also a 4K version but again by natture of usng the same sensor as the 4MP it couldnt be as bright
