hi
i use my nvr box direct with mouse & monitor ( not software via windows )

i dont see a purpose for the A.I rule and always have to unclick it , also the draw rule top left seems pointless and want to have it not switching itself on

Never heard of any of my Ai NVRs or even my Ai DVRs for that matter trying to auto setup a Ai rule?

If you go to the NVRs GUI, Alarm that is where all the info should be working in the NVR/Cameras Motion Detection unless you want only Full time recording and don't care about motion? Either way normally to get to Ai for the camera would have to access the Ai tab and then and only then would it show your rules and ask for you to draw a line or box or what ever.

Maybe you will want to do a Factory Reset and setup the NVR again and don't use any import after the fact setup from new..

I do definitely want AI working automatically and I use it by clicking on the man icon. It jumps to each instance and that's fine and what I want.
It's that icon slightly to the right ,at bottom of screen, that off memory looks like a cross symbol always has to be turned off in replay cos it keeps persistently moving squares when it sees a car but irritates. At some point also on replay, top left drops a box about rule that again I have to push away.

It has been awhile, but I think in the NVR there is a setting to check to tell it to display the IVS rules or not.

these are the offending processes , just want it to do its ai recording but not nag me when im just searching & concentrating

wittaj ... i will have a look at your suggestion tomorrow , presume it wont nobble the ai functionality ?

No it will not disable the AI. It is simply a toggle between displaying the rule or not.

And it may be NVR and firmware dependent on if you can globally turn it off so it stays off.
