You can pull a number for the zoom level from some cams using their API but it's an indexed relative number (i.e. 0-1, 0-2000 something, etc.) not directly the lens focal length in mm. For that cam you then could approximate the mm but you'll end up doing basically what the calculator above does to get there and it will vary from cam to cam. So you can't necessarily take the number from say the 5442 and convert that directly to whatever it would be for the 4K/X. Probably could get close but you can get close just by looking at it if you're trying to decide between something like a fixed-lens at 2.8 vs 3.6 vs 6.0. If that makes sense...
