All, I'm looking for a rectifier that is outdoor rated and can handle a 150w transformer outputting 12v AC and convert it to 12v DC. It also needs to be able to handle a total of ~8 amps from the IR illuminators that will be attached to it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Another option is to use a computer power supply. Depending on the model some can supply 12 VDC at 18 amps. Some more some less. i.e. 120 VAC in with 12 VDC out.
