Access NVR Remotely

I know this has been covered a million times but I am hoping someone has run into the same thing that I am before. I work in IT and know networking quite well.

I am trying to access my NVR remotely. I have port forwarding set up for ports 80, 8000 and 10554(these are what are listed by default on my Hikvision NVR).

I believe part of my issue is my unique home network setup. I have AT&T U-Verse internet which has an Motorola NVG589 set up in IP Passthrough mode to an Asus RT-N56u. I have RTSP enabled on the Asus RT-N56u as well as the ports forwarded as listed above.

I also tried adding the ports to the NAT/Gaming section of the NVG589 but no dice. I still cannot access the NVR via WebPage nor iVMS. Any ideas?

Are you sure the internet provider allows incoming connections?

A quick and easy way to check which if any of your ports are open to the big bad internet is to use one of the many port scanning services such as ShieldsUP!

Ports 8000 and 10554 are open. Port 80 may be blocked by my ISP but shouldn't iVMS still work without port 80?
