I am.new to the world of DVR. I have a requirement to download a video from DVR system, it ia hikvision ds 71. I can install ivms 4200 and download a playback from there. But I need to do this in programmatic way, something like invoking an http call and getting stream in return. I checked sdk provided by hikvision and it seems they are about programming with their media player, they don't provide an access to video data directly. I could be wrong about sdk. Could someone give a hint on how to approach this problem.
