I am wondering if human/vehicle motion filtering work together with non-AcuSense NVRs when AcuSense camera is used?

Yes it does. You can only use the feature on one or the other - you can't double the filtering effect. For full support of the AcuSense cameras it's best to use the I series as opposed to K series NVR as there's an icon on screen to filter during smart playback.
