Add PIR detector to simple POE IP camera?

Hi, do you know if it's possible to add a PIR detector to a simple bullet type POE IP camera that already has motion detect? The idea would be to minimize false detection alerts. Thanks

Some PoE cameras have extra wires for "alarm inputs". This allows you to connect sensors (like PIR), and you can have the camera do things when this alarm is triggered. This feature is usually on middle-to-higher end camera models, though.

If you're going to be using these cameras outside, you might consider the turret form factor. They usually attract fewer bugs to the camera than bullet and domes.
