Hi all,
I've been using a Turbo HD DVR for many years now and I feel it's time to ditch this in favour of a PoE NVR, mainly to cut out all the clutter of 12vdc adapters, their failures and generally keeping everything streamlined. I also use the Door Entry system that has an IP door bell and IP entry screen, both using IP and added to the DVR as two additional channels. My question is whether NVRs also have this option, so the Turbo HD has 8ch Coax plus 2 IP. Would a typical 7608 have 8+2 for example?
Last question is whether I can salvage in Turbo HD cameras and somehow use them on the NVR? Some of my cameras use Cat5 Baluns for longer runs - I assume I need more complicated converters that actually support IP or RTSP or something?
Thanks
