Adding fisheye to dahua NVR - 1 channel, not 4 ?

Updating to a newer 16 channel "VIP Vision" NVR (rebadged dahua, I think). Everything's fine until a Hikvision 12MP fisheye: ONVIF works, but it keeps auto-adding 3 additional virtual channels as well, instead of just the single main fisheye stream I want.

I can't see any way to disable the additional channels on the camera.

And when I use Manual Add, the Total Channels field has a Setting button that looks like exactly what I need ...but it won't let me select the "1" field.

Ideas?

Blunt force solution:

1. Created dummy cameras for all the unused channels
2. Deleted (only) the channel I wanted the fisheye camera on
3. Added the fisheye camera via manual add

..and voila. No available channels to auto-add all the "extra" virtual cameras, so it only added the one I wanted.

Subsequently deleted the dummy cameras and (so far) everything looks the way I wanted. Dumb UI problem solved.

UPDATE: Typed too soon - the fisheye channel vanished, presumably when it failed to add the additional virtual cameras.

Weird, the dahua fisheyes only take 1 channel but their thermals are a pain like that, constantly adding the second visible light camera automatically.
