I got lucky in a local auction house. New-in-box Ubiquiti UniFi Switch - 48 Ports Managed (US-48-500W) for a measly $100. Well over done for what I have a need for, but the UniFi aspect, managed ports, and 500w should cover me for years to come :) Couldn't pass this over. Once I receive and setup my UniFi network (gots the UDM router ordered), the Adtran Advanta 7100 I've been using to run 12 Dahua 2MP and 4MP camera's on it's own subnet will become unused. I hate to have things sit around and collect dust. So willing to send it to someone who needs a 10/100 (notice... it's not 1000) POE 24port switch for free since I snagged this from going to the dumpster anyways, just need to cover shipping.
Any takers?

10/100 PoE Ethernet Ports: 24,10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Ports: 2

That would certainly beat the snot out of my current setup-an 8 port switch for 15 cables. I assume you probably don't want me to fax you cash?

I have never shipt to non-family member or non friend before so I'm not sure how that shipping stuff works. Do they still do cash upon delivery for shipping charges?

Assuming holbs and I can get the shipping figured out, that means I'll have an almost brand new 8 port switch (only 4 poe) that I'll be happy to pass along to someone in need. Stay tuned.

Great to see some 'pay it forward'

Good on you guys!

Holbs is the man!!! I now have probably the last switch I'll ever need, and as I said before I have some stuff to pass on as well.

And now what to do with my 16 port bv-tech Poe switch
