I was looking for some advice - i have a very slow DSL connection (0.375MB upload).
I want to set up security at a holiday home to monitor it.
I wanted to do two things:
Starting out with 4 camera's.
I have been looking at building a PC with milestone but all options seem expensive.
What i have begun to settle on is an NVR from HIK
seems the best bang for buck for me starting out €346

- Record to an NVR so i can collect the data every 2 weeks

- Is there any advantages of using this NVR for remote viewing of the camera's (Lets say i dont have the NVR)
- What are the other advantages of using the NVR other than obviously recording
