My question is... is there a manual way via Putty or telnet to install the PTZ Firmware?

The situation is that we were having problems with the camera reseting itself and losing it's patrol routes. I updated the main camera firmware. However when I booted the camera back up it just shows "PTZ Booting" on the display and doesn't load the PTZ. I have tried to update the PTZ firmware
Both are available here:

I have attempted to update the PTZ firmware via the web url and the IP ConfigTool. Neither method succeeds. When I check the version under the camera system properties it shows the correct information but doesn't show me any PTZ Information. The camera and web interface works great, there just isn't any PTZ connection at all.

Device Type59230UNI
System VersionV2.810.0000000.4.R.4.301e, Build Date: 2020-05-09
WEB VersionV3.2.1.889961
ONVIF Version18.12(V2.4.5.826858)

Did you update both firmwares?

I updated the main firmware using the web interface. When I attemped to load the PTZ Firmware using the the web interface and/or the IP Config tool just caused an error. The PTZ Firmware wouldn't complete. I'm trying to find an older version of the main firmware or the PTZ firmware because what is downloadable from the website doesn't load on my camera.

We have some firmware(s) on this forum as well, if you go into the vendor area, at the bottom of the forum's main page. Look for Empiretech(Andy), and he has most of the firmware(s) there ar well.

Keep in mind that many cameras are Chinese region cameras hacked into English and doing a firmware update can brick the camera.

It is always best to obtain firmware updates from the vendor you purchased the camera from.
