Alarm Inputs/Outputs Dahua NVRs

I did a search-not a very popular topic. My question comes down to this: is it possible to connect a NVR to an alarm panel (DSC) zone such that a motion detection trigger would send a signal to the alarm panel and if armed, would out the panel in alarm status? Thanks

Yes.
The NVR would do a quick close relay at alarm.
So you may have to add something like this: ELK-960 Delay Timer Module
To lengthen the time if the NVR relay fires too quickly for the DSC to see it.

Thanks. That's great info. I found something last night that cleared things up. I like that module. The downside is that it looks like you would need one for each output. I'd need to look at the voltage as well because I don't think I want to send voltage to the alarm panel.

The Module I posted would just provide dry relay contact to the alarm panel, no voltage involved.
