Alert notifications working in IVMS-4200 but not hik-connect

Hi

I have one camera installed at my home, no NVR, recording to SD card in camera, system is working as intended, but I can only recieve notifications when using IVMS-4200 app on my phone, when installing and using the hik-connect app I can watch live, recorded videos but I do not get a push notifications and the "messages" menu is empty...

Anyone who has had similar issues and solved it? I am using an android phone, android 9 installed.

In the Android Hikconnect app, click More>Settings (bottom right three dots). Make sure Message Push Notification is ON under settings.
