Alerts being protected

Somehow one of my cameras is marking the alert as "Protected" therefore I can't delete them without unprotecting. I must be missing something in the settings, how can I stop this?

Somehow one of my cameras is marking the alert as "Protected" therefore I can't delete them without unprotecting. I must be missing something in the settings, how can I stop this?

In the clips and archiving tab uncheck auto protect when flagged. You may have selected to auto flag deepstack triggers.
