I was hoping the new-ish geofence feature that Ken and his app folks have added to their software would be the bees knees, but it's not quite there yet (at least not for me). I use Tasker with my android and I know enough about it to be dangerous, but I do know that if there were some http command or other command available to change BI profiles or schedules or stoplight settings remotely, then I could figure out how to have Tasker make these changes for me when I either 1) connect/disconnect from my wifi SSID or 2) make/lose contact with my closest cell tower or 3) enter/leave a preset radius from my house. Even though I'm no Tasker genius, I could figure it out...it's the command(s) to BI that I have no clue about.

I already have my tasker set to detect certain cell towers, and then turn on wifi, and once it connects it does other things like mute my ringer, disable the keyguard, at work it starts a youtube playing app. I know the http commands are in the BI help, I think if you click webserver on the left side in the index and scroll down it will be there. How to actually send the commands, I know in tasker you can do things from the shell, which will be linux, so that shouldn't be too difficult. Once you have that, you're in like flynn. Dunno if you'd need root for part of that though.
