Does anyone have any experience or opinions on this camera from Amcrest. IP8M-2796EB-AI

Im looking to buy a couple of 4k cameras with color night vision for a small car lot. Thanks

It has a sensor of 1/2.8" just big enough for a 2MP camera but certainly not for a 8MP/4K camera. You'd need great ambient lighting for full color at night otherwise this cam's white LED's would be on all night. Motion would more likely be blurred as well...and perps don't stay motionless.

Look for cameras with larger sensors

It has lightning from street lights only.

No.
I mention because some people don't want the camera's presence revealed and feel that it would do that.
 
If all you have are streetlights then you will have a backlit condition and then the images will be dark.

This camera would have to be within 15 feet of the people to make out identify.
