anyone has the amcrest 5mp turret model IP5M-T1179EW-36MM?

i want to replace one of my dahua 4mp turret that i upgraded from a 3mp turret...

i don't really like the 4mp asoect ratio of 16:9 as compared to my old 3mp camera which had a 4:3..


does the 5mp have a display ration of 4:3?

You can check the aspect ration by simply dividing the resolution. 2592 (H) × 1944 (V)
2592/1944=1.33 4/3=1.33

If your current dahua is a low light 1/1.8 sensor model like the 5442 you will be disappointed by the 5mp sensor. The difference is night and day.

. thanks.. i have a dahua IPC-HDW4431EM-ASE...i believe it has a 1/3" sensor..

not sure how the amcrest compares to the 4431 model at night but i would like a 4:3 ratio in that location...

was looking around for a 3mp turret version that supports h.265 but have not been successful..
