Hi All,
I have a DS-6704HWI analog video server with one analog camera attached to it. fw 1.2.5 build 170829
Everything works fine: notifications, motion, web access, except the HikConnect app. The server is successfully added to my HikConnect account, together with a bunch of other cameras all working.
But when I try to view this server from the Android HikConnect App (latest app, Android 12), I get first the usual black screen with a % of the video as it is being loaded. But when it reaches around 85%-90%, I get this error: "Video playing failed. Error Code: (246101)"
Has anybody idea what this cryptic error code may mean? Is anyone able to use Hikvision with this video server? (I presume DS-6701HWI works also the same way)
I played with all the HikConnect settings and the verification code is correct. Again the video shows connected in the HikConnect web page.
