Crack and hillbilly heroin (prescription oxycocontin, etc) are the biggest problems around here, but there's some meth and designer drugs creeping in too, along with the usual LSD, Molly, etc. Street heroin will get bigger when they crack down on the folks getting multiple oxy scripts for the same ailment from different doctors. We've got a new inter-pharmacy checking system coming into place now that they've figured out that a person's right to privacy stops when they're breaking the law and creating/supplying addicts. As well, we've got too many lax doctors that will write a big prescription when the patient only needs a few pills before Tylenol becomes a better choice. I used to get surprised sometimes when someone in a group would casually mention that they had a bunch of pills left over from having a bad back or a broken bone and someone else would pipe up "Hey, my husband can sell those for you if you want" like it was OK and they were doing you a favour. Dealers have their hooks into every small to medium sized crowd regardless of background. If you say yes to something like that then you're part of the problem. If you say no then don't be surprised if you have a break-in a week later or a bottle disappears out of your bathroom after the party.
